Is it possible to set up a smf forum board so everyone can read the topics in it, but only a special membergroup can post to it?

If so how do I go about it?

Thanks,

Kindred

I read the info at this URL.
http://wiki.simplemachines.org/smf/Board_Permissions

Then tried it, but I must not be doing it right.
At this point it all seems a bit confusing.

Create a new profile.
Set the permissions for each group in that profile
Apply that profile to the specific board

ok, got it. :D
I was also using a mod to make the same board, private.
Think that was screwing me up. Anyway I got it working like I want now, thanks.
