I feel displaying two groups isn't as necessary, plus this takes up too much space on a theme that I am working on. Especially when you take into consideration member social buttons/ inbox message icons etc. The problem:

I would like to achieve this in php and any help would be much appreciated:

If member is assigned a "[membergroup]" eg "Admin"... don't show member's "[postgroup]"

If a member is assigned a membergroup, you can hide their post count in your admin settings. Go to Admin>>Configuration>>Current Theme

Then look for "Hide post group titles for grouped members:" and check that. Once you do that, only their assigned membergroup will show, and not their post count group.

@br360 thank you. Your solution solved my problem. Thank you again for taking the time to help me out. I thought I will need mountains of coding to solve this!
