I installed the mod from here:

https://github.com/MissAllSunday/PrivateTopic

Installed on Default Curve successfully.

But getting Error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ')', expecting ']' in /home/USER NAME/public_html/s/Sources/PrivateTopics.php on line 198

I can not access forum now. I can access cpanel to change files though.

Thnx.

for mods, especially mods form outside of our site - you need to ask the author

GitHub has a issues option where you can report issues and the author can assista you.

My mistake.

I downloaded 'Private_Topic_Master.zip' instead of 'Private_Topic.zip'. So getting error.

Everything is fine with 'Private_Topic.zip' that is available here:

https://github.com/MissAllSunday/PrivateTopic/releases

Actually its a catch :P I opened issue (considering you don't have GH account). :)

Though it was installed successfully, it is not working as intended. Not saving the users when added.

Author here says:

QuoteThis mod only covers a vanilla SMF installation,...

What is vanilla smf installation?

thnx

Another mod is here:
http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=442886.0

But mod is not actually not seen in Modifications section.

Because both authors have removed their mods from our mod site (although for different reasons) and support for those mods should be done on the site where you acquired it, not here...
