Going back in history

Using SMF 2.0.9  I seem to recall reading there's a command to go back in history after a bad mod install. I wasn't able to get into the package section. I had my host take me back in history from a backup, but what is the command to do that with smf?

There is no command to do so...

You can uninstall the bad mod, you can look in the backup directory or you can check the php~ files... But there is no automatic regression capability.

Some hosts do have a history "snapshot" feature where you can roll back your site (or just a specific file or template) to a previous date, but it's not something you see on many hosting sites.

It's a really cool feature, and something I utilized a lot with one of the first hosts I ever used a while back.
