We are using a theme called Redsy and version 2.0.10 of SMF.

Just wondered how we can add another link to the menu at the top next to members, messages, etc.

Do I need to edit some files or is there a MOD for this?

The main menu button array is in /Sources/Subs.php - look for 'All the buttons'.  There's at least one mod that does this, you can search 'Modifications'.
