How do I get rid of unwanted posts?

Before I got this thing tied down, I ended up with a whole lot of spam posts... how do I remove them in bulk - or at all?

in your profile - look & layout
Show quick-moderation as  -- set to checkboxes

this will allow you to bulk select topics on the message index page or messages inside a topic and delete them from the moderation options at the bottom

or go in the users profile and delete and select the option to delete their posts/topics as well as the account.
