Is there a Required Fields in Registration?

I'd like to be able to have Required Fields in the registration page so that users MUST fill in details before any sort of registration is accepted.
I have seen one that requires a "real" email and domain address - not gmail/yahoo/pop3mail/or other public mail services.
Also a full name set, country, county, town and so on.

I can't see how to enforce this in the current 2.0.10 version - is there a mod perhaps?

you can create some custom profile fields and require them to be filled in on registration http://wiki.simplemachines.org/smf/SMF2.0:Features_and_Options#Profile_Fields

Thanks. I have now found that, but so far it seems fairly basic - but better than nothing at all. Those crazy spammer freaks are hard at it, but at least not getting through now.

if that is what you are using it for... that is the wrong reason the spammers will put anything in to get registered. try http://wiki.simplemachines.org/smf/Spam_-_my_forum_is_flooded_with_spam,_what_can_I_do instead.
