Valued SMF-Supporter and SMF-Friends,

would it be a problem to subjoin a new table and import datas to it within the SMF data-base? If possible and does not cause troubles:

  • how to do, to import it in a most "user freindly" way via phpMyAdmin (for example a huge list of thousands of rows)?
  • are there some points one needs to be careful (settings)?

    Thanks for the hints in advanced!

Kindred

import what?

If you are adding a new table, then SMF does not care in the least

Thanks for your care Mr. Kindred.

Just a list (a list from dictionaries data), a table for an eventually later use. So it might not cause and troubles? (really not familiar with this php things and the executions of SMF within it, in a database it would be just a table nothing else)
