Displaying Brackets With BBCode Error

If I want to post this:

[More] (I'm having to use 'nobbc' on the outer brackets to make this display correctly.)

It previews fine but when clicking 'Post' I get this error:

Some of the links in your post were not found or match more than one topic or member.
Please use the id instead.

    "u]More[/u": not found

Is this a bug or working as designed?

that is due to a mod that is installed here. it is not an SMF bug.

It didn't even occur to me to try it on my forum (where it works as expected, of course).

Thanks as always Illori. This can be moved to 'Fixed or Bogus Bugs' or deleted, whichever y'all wish.
