Hi, last night i received some heavy attacks ddos (more than 300 connection) and so my host blocked the site. Now when i try to log-in on the forum i have this error: "insert a nickname" and if i press "recover your password" he say that the session has timed out. Now how can i fix the problem?
SMF Version 2.0.9

Sorry for my english.

Kindred

perhaps your host did not  recover everything?

"insert a nickname"??     That is not a part of the standard SMF installation....

open settings.php and change the cookie name

go to phpmyadmin and truncate the smf_sessions table

I changed the cookie name but i have a problem with the smf_sessions (look the attachment).

That's not a problem, the table is just empty already, no problems with that ;)

Does changing the cookie help? How do you know the issue is with PHPSESSID?

When i try to login on the link bar the link it's: www.mysite./index.php?PHPSESSID=*********4&action=login2 but before the ddos the link was without the PHPSESSID.

Kindred

actually, the phpsessid is completely correct.  it should be there.

Now it would be a good time for you to replace "mysite.com" with a real URL.

A phpinfo would also help ;)
What is a phpinfo() file?
