How can you delete all posts by member?

Hi,

On a new forum I've set up I've started receiving a huge amount of spam. Banning users worked for a bit, but I'm now getting so much spam that I really need to be able to delete all posts by certain users. How do I do that?

take a look at http://wiki.simplemachines.org/smf/Profile#Delete_This_Account given you have not deleted the account already. also take a look at http://wiki.simplemachines.org/smf/Spam_-_my_forum_is_flooded_with_spam,_what_can_I_do .

Thanks for the response. I was deleting members before, but what I hadn't noticed was the option to "remove posts by this member", which makes it a huge amount quicker to delete hundreds of spam messages.

Hey Matt, I recommend you get a few spam mods under your belt. These two will solve all your problems!

And they're designed to work together too. I've been using them for years and no spam .

Yes but it lists a lot of other mods too, and I've personally found the best combination to be the two I've listed. I've never needed any more!

ah.   I use the combination of Bad Behavior (which also includes httpBL) and stop spammer

Oh I didn't know Bad Behaviour included httpBL. I've seen people using them both before though, which is why I am very specific ha ha. You don't need every anti spam mod, just the right ones for your forum after all!
