Bumping this because I have the same problem. No recent mods installed (and it does not occur on previous backup installations). Nothing out of the ordinary in the Karma.php file and it hasn't been changed. The line it's referring to is only a closing parenthesis. My forum is quite large (500MB database), but this has started occurring just all of a sudden and I don't know what to do.
