Im a stupid noob who cant do this!

I hate SMF right now. FINALY no one does this ****** for me. I got a good professonal host. They use Cpannel if it matters. I want to know how i get this forum to work. I tried uploading the install file, extracting the files, then deleting the install file. That didnt work. What do i do?

um, i get a 404 error when i go to what should be the URL for it.

you are sure your file is there but you are still getting 404 ?
can you please tell us where your files are uploaded and how you try to run the install script?

btw, chmod all your files / folders to 777
