Hi,

I want to install SMF 2.0.11 on my SSL Server ... how can i make it ?

Is there a "installation" specific for SSL ?

I ask because when I try to spend my current SMF over SSL (https) the entire board is broken,
no theme is displayed and the forum looks like an html page v1.0 with the underlined hyperlinks
in blue color without css rules neither ...

I'm guessing you've already gotten an SSL certificate on your server?

If so, can you try running repair settings? http://wiki.simplemachines.org/smf/Repair_settings.php

Direct-Compute

Yes i have it since 3 month now ...

I'm going to try "Repair_settings.php" ; I come back to tell you what it is after handling.

thank you for your help br360 ^^

You're welcome. You may have to add the "s" after the http; so any link that says http://yoursite.com, http://yoursite.com/avatars, etc. might need to be manually changed so it looks like https://yoursite.com, https://yoursite.com/avatars, and so on.

I managed to get my change https on the forum, but when I do a test to make a paid subscription from SMF I get the following message on hxxp:paypal.com [nonactive]:

The seller only accepts encrypted payments. You can not pay via unencrypted buttons. Please contact us for more information.

Your purchase could not be made
The merchant's PayPal account has a problem. Try again later.

Yet the button "Pay with paypal" is actually on a page https ...

You may also have to force all links to be https via your .htaccess file.

Take a look at this link which may help explain how to do it- http://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/website/ssl/how-to-force-ssl-using-the-htaccess-file
