If I deinstall avatar mods, will my forum users loose their current avatars?

I am planning to upgrade my SMF from 1.1.21 to 2.x.

I have a bunch of avatar mods installed.

If I deinstall avatar mods, will my forum users loose their current avatars?

if you remove the files, users that did use those avatars yes would loose them. you dont need to uninstall the avatar mods to upgrade.
