enable Responsive Curve on theme1

I am running the beta5 of responsive curve with the default theme, then I created a copy of that named "theme1" (all defaults). How do I enable responsiveness on this new theme?
related question: when I created /theme1, barely two .css files were copied over, not the entire /default folder. Any harm if I manually copy everything from /default over into /theme1 (which I use to style to my preferences)?

No harm, you'll completely duplicate the theme. That will probably fix your issue with responsiveness too ;)

That did it. Thanks. It would be nice though if the built-in new theme generator would duplicate the entire folder.

Well, it works exactly as intended...  the "new theme" thing just copies the MINIMUM necessary files to make a new theme. If you are doing that, it is generally assumed that you are going to further customize things (otherwise, you would have used the base theme)
