on My Site, i have a link to the forum. When im already in the forum, and i click it to return to the forum index, it used to log me out. I was like wtfm8. I looked at the standard menu link.

the only difference between the two were...

my link - http://model98.org/forum

menu link - http://model98.org/forum/index.php?

so i changed my link to show the same as the menus. sure enough, it keeps me logged in now.

does linking to /forum rather than /forum/index.php? really make a difference with cookies and such, or am i imagining it?

As far as I know it doesn't make any difference with the cookies, but I could be wrong.

weird. because linking to /forum loggs me out....linking to /forum/index.php? keeps me logged in.

Some servers are picky about that sort of thing, but the / should automatically be added... (ie www.domain.com/forum should get changed to www.domain.com/forum/)
