Which Chat mod is best?

I'd like to have a chat function and I was wondering which one would be recommended by this community?

Just installed it then uninstalled it. It said it was installed but it was nowhere to be found on my site. I checked and it said boardindex in placements but it wasn't there.

Are you using a custom theme? If you are, you are probably going to have to add the code in manually to that custom theme's index.template.php. Here is a link that will show you what to add and where. http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=269091.msg3842831#msg3842831

If you still have any issues installing it and getting it to work, please post on that mod's support thread and I'm sure someone will be able to help you.

I use to implement http://chatwing.com/ in my previous forums if that helps. Not a mod, but a third party service. Easy to use, manage, modern, clean, simple look.
