Need Help with Domain Changes

Hi, my website is here - Colosseum-Gaming.com [nofollow]

Up until now, I have had SMF forums @ Colosseum-Gaming. When I made the website as a whole, www. and other subdomains went to Wordpress, now I want to switch it.

I am able to move my Wordpress site onto our @ subdomain. However, when I attempt to move our forum to a forums.colosseum-gaming.com [nofollow] subdomain I get an ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED issue.

I host my domain through NFO.



How would I go about fixing this problem? Please do not tell me that I do not need Wordpress, or that it is a bad software. I work with Wordpress and Joomla daily, but SMF is a different story.

so, you moved the forums from what URL to the new subdomain?
Did you also change the PATHs or just the virtual-location/subdomain url?

How did you move the forum?
Did you run repair_settings.php to reset all of the important URLs to the new subdomain?

What is running in the root domain now? Is there an htaccess in the root domain?
