Members only received title of newsletter I sent out & no message.

SMF 2.0.11

I have not changed any mods for a long time. Only thing I recall ever changing for sometime is the SMF updates, 2.0.9, 2.0.10, etc...

I send out a newsletter to a group of 300+ members.
Like always I create the newsletter in the Notes app on my mac. Then I copy and paste it into SMF before sending it out.

This time around after sending the newsletter out I start getting flooded with emails from members saying they received a email from me with just a title and no message.

I'm wondering why my newsletter was sent with just the title and no message.

I have the same problem although I discovered that the first 32 of the 242 sent did actually contain the message. I am watching with interest as I didn't get a responce to My thread

I should maybe also point out that after I copied and pasted my message I went back and pasted, {$member.name} into the beginning of my message, Hi {$member.name}.

Just like I have done many other times.

I did not see anything in my error log other then some failed login attempts afterwards.

is the notes app a text only editor, or does it allow formatting? if it does allow formatting try typing up the newsletter in a text only editor like textwrangler and see if it sends. you can test by sending to yourself.

It allows formatting.

I have always used the Notes app in the past without any problems.

I just sent myself three different newsletter with copy & paste from the Note app. They all went though just fine, strange.
