Upload members en masse?

Is there a way to upload members en masse?
I already have a database of all the current members of my club with their preferred log in ID's and passwords and would like to upload them all so that when I launch the forum as a new feature of the clubs website the current membership is read to use the forum?
The Current Membership is in a MYSQL 5 DB which is what the Forum uses.
