Smf Connection Problem

Hi everyone.

please I'm seriously having issues with my forum, i don't know whether if its from the host or from my theme..

The forum usually get down almost every 30mins and revive itself almost at the same time.. And the message I always get whenever it goes off is...

Connection Problems, Sorry, SMF was unable to connect to the database. This may be caused by the server being busy. Please try again later.

Please what could have been the cause?, can someone tell me how to get rid of this issue please, it has been eating me up..

usually a hosting issue. contact your host and see what they say. if they cant solve the issue find a new host.

Do you have Load Balancing enabled in your Admin Center? If so, are the settings "reasonable"?

They'll be relative to the number of CPU cores you have, so a setting of 1.0, or a load of 1.0 doesn't necessarily equate to 100%.
