And now i cant log in at all,( i changed it to http://www. ) says my password is incorrect, does the same thing on several accounts i have on the forum.
If i try, to use the recover password it tells me Ive tried to many attempts to log in and to wait 30 seconds.

I used repair setting.php and still the same issue, i cannot log into any account, when i try reset password i am told "
Sorry, but you've reached your login attempts threshold. Please wait 30 seconds and try again later."

I have managed to put the forum in maintenance mode.
What is happening and how do i resolve this?

How do I restore files from R1Soft?

We take backups of your entire account, including files emails and databases, once per day. Backups are stored for 7 days. You can access these backups and restore your file(s)/database(s) directly through your control panel (cPanel). If you require assistance with restoring files or databases, please open a ticket with our support department and provide us a list of the file(s) and database(s) you need restored.

To restore files or emails:

Login to cPanel for your account
Once you've logged in, use the search bar to locate the 'R1Soft Restore Backups' interface
Click the R1Soft icon, at which point you'll be redirected to the login. Use your cPanel username and password to login to R1Soft
Once you've logged in your active recovery points will be listed. Click the yellow folder labeled 'Browse' to the right of the recovery point
Double-click on the 'home' directory that is listed. This will take you to your accounts home directory.
Continue to navigate through the listed directories until you find the folder(s) and file(s) you wish to restore
Select the checkbox to the left of folder(s)/file(s) you wish to restore, and then click 'Restore Selected' from the top navigation
After confirming the action, your folder(s)/file(s) will be restored

To restore databases:

Login to cPanel for your account
Once you've logged in, use the search bar to locate the 'R1Soft Restore Backups' interface
Click the R1Soft icon, at which point you'll be redirected to the login. Use your cPanel username and password to login to R1Soft
Once you've logged in your active recovery points will be listed. Click the blue icon labeled 'Browse Databases' to the right of the recovery point
Click the plus icon to expand your database tree
Select the checkbox to the left of the database(s) you wish to restore, and then click 'Restore Selected' from the top navigation
After confirming the action, your database(s) will be restored

is this something i should attempt?

Nodaz

well, the issue seems to have resolved by me removing the www. part ( that i added in admin/server settings/database and paths)) using repairsettings.php...
crisis averted i hope.
that said, what happened?

Nodaz

well the issue that prevented me from log in in after trying that "fix"
I continue to get the error when trying to log out or move between certain features of the admin panel.
What causes this?
