Hindi Fonts

Hello

I am trying to save a text in Hindi (गुड मोर्निंग ) but it shows as "??" and not "गुड मोर्निंग "

Can someone pls suggest what cud be wrong. I am using default theme and ver is 1.1.8

How do I display Hindi fonts, like in the above post. From Google webfonts I've selected Halant & the website says
this goes in the head section of html

I'm a nerd and any further help will be appreciated. Where do I insert these lines of codes

is your forum utf-8? if not then you need to convert it.

i dont believe you need to do anything but convert.

It is. I selected that option when setting up.

I get it. Displaying is not the problem, typing the font with the English keyboard is. Cut/paste works fine with display of Hindi font, typing it is another story.
