reminder emails are not bieing sent out when paid subscriptions finish

I am getting notification emails for new paid subscriptions and every other board function new PM, new post etc... but members don't get a email when a subscriptions finishes I put the {name} and {forum} statements in the e mail area exactly as listed below

Your Contributor Subscription is expiring
{NAME}
{FORUM}

is this the correct syntax ??

not that i can see i set up a test subscription with a short  duration it shows finished but i got no notification email

Set up a test subscription with 3 day duration, and set reminder email to 1 day, see what happens.  Bear in mind the scheduled task that updates subscriptions runs once a day by default at 17:00 local time, and there must be activity on the forum to trigger it.  You can run it manually in Admin -> Scheduled Tasks.

That's correct.  Even if it weren't, email would still be sent, but content would be garbled.
