problems after moving to other hosting

Hi,
I have problems after moving forum to the other hosting(dreamhost to be certain). I just installed it to the other domain and uploaded database. It works but have some problems now. It cannot make attachement - saying "Cannot access attachments upload path!"
I cannot show protection image on the registration. Maybe some more. The posts are possible to make. Register is possible but confirmation email doesn't come. So I turned that off too for now.

did you run What is repair_settings.php? after you moved the forum? you need to make sure all the paths and URLs are correct.

Thanks! I did run that tool but did not changed there much. The attachements now work. Anyone can tell me where to look to fix the problem with sending email confirmation or showing security image on registration?

I am not webmaster, afraid to break something
