Database Error "Incorrect string value for function inet_aton"

I just installed on a Windows 10/MySQL 5.7 machine, and got this error. Nothing would work.

Changing the two INET_ATON() references in Subs.php to INET6_ATON() was the only way to get the board to run.

However, even then, it would only run for a couple of page loads, and then died again. Once it's dead it seems dead no matter what. Maybe something with the session handling? For me it's Subs.php 2653 (though the function starts at 2643).

Since smf 2.1 beta 3 is ipv6 problem fixed.

But your not able to make a drop in replace,
you need to run the update or a new installation.
