backup and restore

hi first of all i want to tell you i hosted my forum on a debain vps and now i want to move it to another forum i want to backup all members and threads posts but how i can do that i read that in wiki but that was said for panels and i have no panel i am using vps and i have full access to vps how i can backup and restore

then you would need to install phpmyadmin or use the cli tools to do a backup. if you dont know how ask your host for assistance.
