Search scope dropdown

Folks -

On the top right of THIS forum, your search does not look vanilla...

I have a little search icon, a box, & a search button.

You have a search box, a NIFTY search scope dropdown, & a search button. 

Without that scope dropdown making things clear, my users get terribly confused.  They never seem to realize they're not searching the whole site.  Search behavior (for that box in the upper right) is context sensitive - e.g., if you're reading a thread the search is scoped to that thread.   

Is that scope dropdown (Site, Community, This Board, etc...) a mod somewhere?
