custom registration

so i was thinking of implement a SMF forum for my website, but there is already a registration page so i would like to combine it so user's don't have to register on both parts of my website.
would be great to use registration of my current website and user to be created for smf also

is there any script ready to handle something like this?

well - it really depends on what registration system you currently use.

In general, SMF is probably more secure than most "custom built" solutions...   and, using SMFs built in registration, login and permissions can actually simplify the rest of your site - if you are currently doing something custom.
If you are using some other out-of-the-box system like wordpress then you would need to specify that for us to help you.
