old or outdated files when upgrading

I installed the forum, it worked fine. I extracted the files of the upgrade file, ran upgrade.php and got this error:

The upgrader found some old or outdated files.

Please make certain you uploaded the new versions of all the files included in the package.

Click here to try again.

How do i fix this so i can install 1.1RC?

Make sure you uploaded all of the upgrade files to your website.

Download the correct upgrade archive from the downloads section.  Extract them, then upload all of them to your website.  Then run the upgrade.

I think thats what i did. I uploaded the upgrade zip file, then extracted teh files, then ran the uprade.php script, but it gave me that error.

Make sure you overwrite the existing files on your server. Sometimes ftp programs skip files that are already present.

What ftp-client are you using? I really think you should try another one.

Im using cPanel's file manager.

I recommend you used filezilla.  http://filezilla.sf.net  when uploading select overwite not resume.

Well it seems like you missed files while uploading.  using an ftp clien its much easier to add files than just uploadone by one.

ok upload all your files in the /Themes/default/ folder overwrite them.

So upload to a new folder, then replace the template files with the new 1.1 RC version?
