In short, SpacePhoenix, your opinion is, quite frankly, incorrect...      you may like "bleeding edge" stuff (as do many of us who know what we are doing), but for the average user and average host, you are just plain wrong...  And your statements show an intolerance that is misguided. :(

Please stop reiterating the same points as already made, we heard everyone the first time. If only reality agreed with the idealism being shown here.

Perhaps. The good news is it shouldn't be a discussion point for much longer as we will be PHP 7 compatible soon. Locked for now :). Enjoy the holidays all.
