Security threat

Forgive me for my total ignorance..i've spent the last hour trying to figure out what "back end" access is and how to change them and have gotten nowhere..

i had a member who is a wickedly good coder.  i gave him complete access to the forum to help us make major changes i couldn't do.  we had a falling out and he's now telling me that i better change the "back end access" because even though he's not a member anymore (i deleted his account) he could delete my entire forum right now.

i believe him.

help?

also change all your passwords that person may have had access to.
