Disable post approval report notification

Hi.
i'm in 2.0.11

I turned up approval of post because i need that option for a board. now, every new topic in this board is created (via createpost() in a php script, not approved, it happens several times in an hour), emails are sent to all moderators with approval report.

going to moderate -> settings i turned off 'Notify of items awaiting approval', but no luck.

how could i void emailing every moderator that post approval report?

each moderator has to turn that option off for their account.

in the moderation center, under change settings.

I did it, but still receive that mail

maybe it was still in the queue at the time. keep an eye on it but you should stop receiving those emails unless you are using a mod that is bypassing that setting in some way.

there's no mod for approval, i did enable post approvation yesterday, and approval is only for topic started with smf createPost() function.

If you want to disable those mails for everybody, disable the scheduled task "Approval Notifications".

got it.

had to turn off notifications for all mods.

and I was still receiving notifications because for a global moderator I set an email alias redirected to my mail account. thanks, everybody.
