Hello~

I have been testing the Beta 2 & 3 Builds and am really happy with how "modern" they look~ I love the responsiveness and mobile friendliness that the new 2.1 provides and the likes and mentions to be delivered within the box is just the icing on the cake, however, I just have one small question for you devs.
In the Mobile Main Menu, when you have it open, could it be done so that aside from the red X, tapping any space outside the border also exits the menu? I have enlarged the area that you can tap, however it only feels natural to tap outside the window to exit a popup kinda. If it was already done in some beta 4 preps, cheers to ya~

Added screenshot: the area below the end of the popup box (underneath, you can see the Meme Pit board) could contain an invisible div perhaps, that would do the same script as the red X ::)

I actually don't like that idea...      I think the menu should remain open until you actively act to close it, by ticking the close (x)...  that would be the standard behavior, IMO...

Hmm, I am 50/50 on this.  Click anywhere but the menu and the menu being closed is also quite common.  i don't know what the 'best practice' is?

Well I find it that on mobile, me and other peepos that use my test forum usually miss the small lil X and all my users voted on a poll that they prefer having just tapping on the background to close a popup just like in mobile apps like fb. I'd recommend keeping the X button, tho maybe the <a> field should be slightly larger, and maybe making a box the same width right underneath the popup, which can be like 20% opacity where it just says [close] and you can tap on either the X or the box. Thoughts? ::)

Interesting. I agree that most modals on sites (perhaps since many use Bootstrap) clicking outside of the modal or dropdown hides it. I'd be in favor of doing that as well. Any other thoughts?

Mobile menu current at experimental stage, once we finish the that stage it'll be like login popup.

+1, quite common behavior on many sites.
