I hope I am posting the right board, but I'm installing Tapatalk and can't seem to find the mobique folder to set its permissions.

Do you mean in the download zip folder? Because I downloaded both versions and can see the mobique folder.

It tells me, in order to authenticate and install, I have to apply some File Permissions to 755, but I'm in the permissions deal and can't see the mobique folder!

No, you're not in the right board  ::)

Have you actually installed the plugin? That should create the mobiquo folder.

you need to use a client FTP like filezilla, connect to your host, and if you correctly installed tapatalk you will see the mobique folder on your forum root where you can change the folder permission.
If you use cpanel, you have also a file explorer included which can change permissions.

My apologies, sir!

Also, I have installed the plugin, actually through Filezilla, and I thought you could only set the permissions through Admin on the SMF?

I will go into my cPanel and do it, then!

Shambles

You should use the package manager to install the Tapatalk plugin - no need for Filezilla

"We are not able to verify the status of the Tapatalk plugin on your site via (http://www.oaoffroad.com/mobiquo/mobiquo.php). Pls. ensure the forum URL, extenstion and mobiquo directory provided are correct and valid."

This is the error message I am getting from Tapatalk. I went through Filezilla to set the permission to the tapatalk folder.

Shambles

Did you set folder permissions to 0755 on ALL folders & subfolders?

Naterr

I went through FTP to set the only permissions that I was able to do.

It won't let me expand the folder to find the mobquo (spell) folder through admin on the SMf site, so I went to the filezilla and set the tapatalk folder to 755. Thats the only file permissions I set.

Naterr

Here is a screenshot of the file permissions.

I don't have the mobque (spell) folder in here.

Naterr

Here is ANOTHER screenshot of the File manager through cPanel.

Also, set to 755...

Just went back into my File Manager through cPanel...
All files and folders, and sub-folders are set to 755!

Still, same error.

Naterr

Problem is RESOLVED!

Thank you so much!
