Backups files in packages folder

Hi,

The backup folder in the Packages folder is taking up a heap of disk space. There is 4 years worth of backups in there.
Could someone please advise as to whether we can safely remove the old backups retaining just the current ones.
I have everything backed up on other hard drives so can always put back.

From what I can see as long as I do not want to roll back this should be ok.

You can remove them.

Just keep the most recent ones, in case you have a problem with a mod that doesn't show up right away.
