Adsense with SMF 2.0.13

Team,

I need help with placing google ads on my forum. I tried couple of mods but didn't get the desired results... I want to place ads at the locations below, can someone help..

1. Between categories on forum index page

2. Randomly between posts

3. Top of page below menu bar

I tried editing the files but everytime I ended up with error as most of those suggestions were for very Old versions of SMF.

Using a mod, like "ad manager"  is really the decent way to go.

any mod for 2.0.x will mostly work with and other 2.0.x version.

If you got errors, then it means that some other mod has changed the code in that location
