Possible to make a menu button change the theme?

I would like to allow a user to change the theme by simply pressing a button in the header menu.
I've got a normal, white theme and have modified a duplicate to a dark theme, what I would love to have are LIGHT THEME and DARK THEME buttons in the header menu so that the user can switch more easily than to change his/her profile settings.

Can this be done?

See if this works for you- http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=3356

It gives members a drop down list of all available themes installed and let's them choose which one they want.

Thanks for that, but I would like it a lot more simple: just a button "night mode" and when you click it the theme switches to the dark version. Is this possible to do?
