Usergroups question on new convert install from phpbb

Hi. I'm a recent convert from phpbb.  On great useful feature of the phpbb forum was the ability of the general public to browse the user groups.  Maybe it's just me, and i'm stareing right at it and don't know it, but how does the general public or registered users view the usergroups?  Other than the note bellow their names in posts?

SMF doesn't have this feature at the moment, but it may be added in the future. I think someone is also working on a mod to add this functionality.
