Vote up or Vote down a post

Hi,

I was looking for something like Vote-up or Vote-down a post. It's same like Like/Unlike a Post.

However only a certain group of members should be able to like/Unlike. I searched and found the below mod which looks similar.. however it doesn't work with SMF 2.0.13... is there any other mod to fulfill this requirement.

There is also another way to do it without using a module that involves the built in karma system... however, using a like system module is more search engine friendly than the karma system... the way in the karma system is that you have to enable karma first, then rename what is displayed on posts to read "Member Likes... & Member Dislikes" or similar... making it display the thumbs up/thumbs down icon is a little trickier but doable in the Karma settings as well... then all you have to do is set the karma member group permissions to suit you... if you are interested I have developed a custom addition to the SMF Statistics Page which adds a section to the page dealing directly with good/bad Karma stats.

I was able to install the mod using suggestion by br360, I will try to use Karma system as suggested by Bob Perry once time permits...

this mod is not as per my expectations however I'll try to customize it with my little knowledge...
