Registrations disabled - add message

Is it possible that when registrations are disabled to have a message displayed as to why the registrations are disabled?

guess you want to change the text wich is displayed(Sorry, registration is currently disabled), when they click the register button?
If so you need to change language string $txt['registration_disabled'] wich is in file /Themes/default/languages/Errors.english.php
