Unable to install packages

I am running a forum with version SMF 2.0.13, I would like to install the Bad Behavior Package. I have uploaded it and we look good to go. But every time I try to install it, SMF re-routes me to a login screen, even though I am already logged in as administrator and in the Package Manager section of the Admin panel. I can perform every admin task except installing packages.

Any suggestions to fix the problem? I've tried different browsers, clearing cache, etc.

ask your host to disable mod_security

Any other suggestions? I've read all the arguments against mod_security, but the host isn't going to do it.

then find a new host. you dont need mod_security at all with SMF.
