Modify button disappears

When a user creates a new post, they are able to modify it but after 24 hours or so, the modify button no longer appears for that post. Is this normal and is there any way to stop the modify button disappearing? I have looked at the permissions but there doesn't seem to be anything obvious - the modify post permission is enabled for general members.

Anyone got any suggestions?

There is a setting fir the time limit to edit posts
We use it here, set to about 10 mins...

Can't recall, off the top of my head, exactly where it is though....

Thanks - I found it under Forum - Posts and Topics - Post settings.

It was set to 1440 minutes (24 hours)
