Well I upload and install SMF 1.0.5. Everything works just fine but when I change the them (SMFone, cerberus, etc..) It appear An error almos every page.  It said something like send_mail() had been disable   ind Error.php. (I resume the error). I decide to upgrade to 1.1rc1 and again everything seems to work fine but now I can't install a new theme and the ones I had disappear.

I already erase the SMF from the server, and will try to install again, but I want to know how to prevent that to happen again.

PD: SMFone is soported for SMF 1.1rc1?

OK SCS, maybe this will sound stupid but I'm completely new with SMF. SMF 1.0.5 is already install. An the SMFone also. I need to upgrade the SMF 1.0.5 to 11rc1 first and then upgrade the SMFone with the link you post?

The way I install the theme is first uploading it into a folder and then install from that folder, or Is better if I install from the file and upload the entire tar.gz

Also I should Install the SMFone update as a mod or a theme.

This is the fifth time I erase and upload everything all over again, but the error is still there.

Warning: realpath, tmpfile, link, mb_send_mail() has been disabled for security reasons in /data/members/free/tripod/es/m/i/e/miespacio/htdocs/Sources/Errors.php on line 358

Is there a way I can prevent this message from continue appearing. Maybe changing or adding some code into the index or another file. Does the administration control panel has an option for doing it?

I change the host and now I'm using host.sk [nofollow]. The theme problem was fixed but now I can't install any mods. This is the error it display.

2: file_put_contents() [<a href='function.file-put-contents'>function.file-put-contents</a>]: SAFE MODE Restriction in effect. The script whose uid is 114467 is not allowed to access /mnt/storage/users/m/i/e/miespacio/Packages/temp owned by uid 81

The first function changes according to the mod but from where it says SAFE MODE and on it is the same.

Your host has Safe Mode one and there is notting much you can really do.  Most hosts as much as you ask them wont turn it off.  1.1 handles this better when installing mods.

Well I try to install a theme from a file and It gave me the same error, but then I first upload the folder an install it from the directory and it just work fine.

Is there a way I can install mods that way?

xenovanis

No, I'm afraid you'll have to install mods manually or switch to 1.1. 1.1 handles safemode better.
