Upgraded from 1.0.5 to 1.1 RC1

Upgrade was fine, but now I cannot install new mods at all -- it'll tell me that I'm done installing (after I hit the Install Now) button, but the mod just doesn't get installed -- the package manager lists them as uninstalled, and none of their features show up.

Update:
I feel kinda stupid, but after toying around a bit, I tried setting the chmod to 777 for the forum, and volia, all package installations worked.
