Indeed it is, my whole site will be based around SMF when I migrate to PHP hosting

I have to admit, I hated SMF when I first loaded it due to the fact my webhost updated their sql database configuration without notifying their clients and it crash. Something kept me looking into repairing it and restoring it. Now I can't imagine using another. Great product guys!!!
