Upgrade database to 1.05

The smf installed is 1.0.5 but the database is showing version 1.0.2 due to which i am receiving some errors. My site is up. Now how an i upgrade the database to 1.0.5 without any loss of information.


Please note the error "Note: It appears that your database may require an upgrade. Your forum
files are currently at version SMF 1.0.5, whereas your database is at
version SMF 1.0.2. It is recommended that you execute the latest version
of upgrade.php."

Can anyone tell me how to deal with this problem?
