Help with my forum!!!

Hi,

I am trying to upgrade my forum from IPB 2.0 to SMF 1.0 and most of the migration has worked but there are a few outstanding issues.

The issues i have found are below:

1) Members unable to upload there own avatars! They can use the defaults ones, or ones i copied across, but they can not upload new ones.

2) I'm not sure if the same applies to attachments

3) Signitures are broken (although this is the least of my worries)

I was wondering if someone could help me track down what the problem may be if I gave you temporary ftp access to my forum?

I would like to avoid re-install if i can, as new posts have been made since the migration. I would really appreacite anyones help with this.

Check your permissions (admin -> permissions). Both options can be set by permissions.

1+2, what are their permissions? Do they have permission to upload avatars?
/index.php?action=manageattachments;sa=avatars

3: How?

I checked the permissions and it all seems in order. It's just when someone tries using the upload new avatar feature in their profile section it doesn't work. I have no idea why.

Anything else people can suggest?
