Need help

I have read some of these fixes for unaccessible forum and they are not working for me.Assuming my server has upgraded tp 4.4..0
I uploaded the smf/sources/sub.php text script and deleted the existing one. but still get these stupid error messages and cannot access my forum of which I am the owner/moderater.
I deleted the ampersand from the appropriate file .....still no go.
What do you suggest?

Thanks for your reply
Since posting I have managed to get access...I found a ht:access file with some errors and now I am in.
Another issue has arisen and that is I have changed my email address, have forgotten my user name and can't access the admin section to do some urgent work.

Any suggestions...besides a brain transplant.

As administrator, go in to phpmyadmin, find your details in smf_members and edit your email address to the correct one and save that.
Then enter the forum, click on login and use the option to send a new password to your email address
